Several months of preparation and anticipation came to an end in mid-August as we finally debuted our Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The Toronto Gift Show (CGTA), which takes place twice a year, is the major buying event where all customers come out from around Canada.
This show was extra special for us. We debuted 2 of new fashion lines; Adia Kibur Accessories and FUNKtional Footwear, as well as our Three’s Company Accessories fall line and Adi Bakshi’s fall scarves line.
The response to Adia Kibur’s line was unbelievable. With a successful 10 years in the US we were ecstatic to bring this line to Canada. It has been featured in magazines from Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Lucky to our favorite Canadian publication Flare Magazine. From the statement bib necklaces to the chunky lucite bracelets, there was a style that every buyer loved. FUNKtional Footwear is a new fabulous line in New York started by two wonderful women. Though we knew how unique and practical this line was, we were still shocked by the reaction of the retailers. CitySlips, a foldable ballet flat that fits right into a clutch that opens up into atote to house your heels. AfterSoles are a rollable ballet flat that fit right into your purse and comes with a bag to hold your heels. Both styles are available in black, gold and silver and in 3 sizes: small (5-6), medium (7-8) and large (9-10). The Three’s Company Fall/Winter line is my favorite we have designed thus far. Our Charming Chains Collection from an adorable owl to antique style leaves was definitely a favorite. Adi Bakshi’s scarves are the most unique and simplest scarf you will come by. The up and coming designer is so full of talent we are proud to be her exclusive distributor in Canada. These hand made scarves are made from fabulous fabrics and have an easy 3 step tag attached on how to wear. (Though you just wrap the fabric around and button up). Take a look at all the styles here.
Overall, this is definitely the most successful trade show Three’s Company has ever had. We are so thankful for all of our existing retailers who continuously come out to support us. As well, we are so proud to welcome all the new retailers that we gained from the show. Though we are sad the Fall/Winter debut is over we are excited for the January show to debut our Spring/Summer Collection. Until then.
